The Order of Malta is one of Ireland's largest voluntary organisation celebrating over 75 years helping in over 80 locations across Ireland.
The Order of Malta Ambulance Corps is recognised as one of the most experienced and professional first aid organisations in Ireland. They are a major provider of excellence in first aid training, ambulance cover, community care, nursing services and assistance to other charities in towns all over Ireland. It is a voluntary ambulance and first aid organisation with over 4,000 volunteers involved in providing there assistance to a variety of organisations, events, charities and festivals.
They are an entirely voluntary organisation and receive less than 10% state funding which is why the people who take the time out of their busy lives to volunteer are so important to what they do.
