Started in 2004 the Naas Farmers Market has gone from strength to strength. Known for their friendly atmosphere and a wide selection of produce to offer, it can be your one stop shop when filling up your fridge and cupboards.
With many visitors coming from outside of Naas it is already a renowned food destination. As one of Ireland’s most famous farmers market they pride themselves by living to a high standard, regardless of the stall. Their ethos is to provide the finest products, a variety of choice and to engage with the customers to make it the best food market in Ireland.
Now working as a co-operative the market has plans to expand themselves while also keeping the high level of standards they have come to be known for. An increased seating area is part of the upcoming re-launch of the market as they continue to keep the market as one of the best by ensuring it is fresh and vibrant for the customers and stallholders.
The market opens every Saturday from 10am until 3pm in the courtyard behind the Trax Brasserie just off Main Street, Naas. With over twenty stalls in the market the produce on offer ranges from organic fruit and vegetables, baked goods, fresh local meats, cheeses to craft stalls offering handmade candles, soaps, knitwear and garden plants. There is something sure to grab your eye and keep you returning in the future.
One of the favourite parts for visitors at Nass Farmers Market is the social aspect provided by the stalls, vendors and the availability of seating. It is a place where you can come pick up a few bits and then sit down and chat while having lunch from the selection of hot and cold food available every week for you to enjoy.
At thebestof Naas we are proud champions of the best local businesses and the best place to find local information, events, offers and more.
