Supporting projects that aim to provide a positive difference in the areas which ESB have nominated, they are asking people from local organisations to apply for the funding they are making available.
Every year funding is awarded to nearly 150 organisations with €1 million approximately being granted. Organisations specifically targeting educational access and support, suicide prevention and care towards the homeless can avail of this funding opportunity.
Ideally the organisation will have secured independent local funding also as this grant will not cover areas such as staff costs, operation costs or fundraising activities. The fund is awarded on merit in four rounds during the year.
All applications should be lodged by August 19th and indicate the level of resources that are being invested into the project.
